Fernandos Hideaway - Quarteira

We were looking for that “something special” and we stumbled upon Fernando’s Hideaway by accident. We enjoy good food and different types and we have eaten some of the best steaks around the world. Don’t miss out on Fernando’s Hideaway. Fernando, the chef, was helpful...and fun. The rest of the family were obviously involved with the business as well and we asked if the steaks were fresh, pre-frozen, etc. and were assured that all the meat was delivered fresh. He really knew his stuff. We ordered lamb chops for one of our party and they were a delight. The steaks were exactly as we ordered them (maybe a second or two too long on the grill) but no complaints. They were tender, tasty and good portion sizes. Oh, and the chips, hot, crispy and tasty. Would we come here again – a definite yes. Thank you Fernando for making the last day of our holiday on the Algarve special.

A group of four of us visited Fernandos on a short break to Quarteira in early February. We all had the Rib Eye steaks which were large and very delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. The night was so good we...decided to return on our last night and we were not disappointed. The food and service was as good as our first visit. We will definitely be back when we visit the area again.

O restaurante estava meio cheio. Uma só pessoa a atender a todas as mesas. Sem pressas. Comida é razoável mas o tempo de espera é muito além do razoável. Devia ser a prioridade a corrigir.

Minha esposa e eu jantamos esta noite no Fernando's, Quateira. 22 de março de 2024. Estava definitivamente aberto!! Eu comi um delicioso bife do lombo e minha esposa comeu frango com limão. Ambos bem preparados e com uma bela salada também. Inclui vinho, café e um doce, menos de 60 euros. Primeira vez que estivemos lá, mas certamente voltaríamos novamente.

Este lugar é uma jóia escondida. Fui lá por causa dos comentários e não ficamos desapontados. Os melhores bifes que já comemos em Portugal, tão tenros e suculentos. Nós definitivamente voltaremos para mais. A única desvantagem é que tivemos que esperar um pouco pela refeição, mas valeu a pena esperar.
