Village Pizza - Quarryville

The service is terrible again. Our second time there was the last time the service and food was amazing. Our waitress literally ran through the restaurant last time. Not so much this time. There were 4 tables of customers including us and two waiters when we arrived there, so I thought our chances could be good. Forever, order the first drinks and then get our drinks forever. We ordered apps and meals. The first thing that comes out was my wife's salad. 5 minutes later my sons were Burger, then another 5 minutes for my Boli, then our apps, then she said it would be a few minutes for my sons Pizzaburger Sub. That came about 5 minutes later. No explanation and then she said? Thank you and went away to get back behind the counter. We finally showed them about 15 minutes later, we asked for refills, but they never got them. Sal asked how things were while I paid the bill and I let him know about it, promised to make it better next time and then hand over two coupons to me. The waitress lets me know it's hard when she trains new people. If she trains the other girl, we will be in trouble until the next owner comes into this pot. Try looking out, no apps and maybe go up and get your own refill.

This is the best pizza I've had in years! The crust was perfectly crispy without being overcooked. The sauce struck the right balance—not too spicy and not too sweet. The cheese was fresh and delicious. If Sal is making the pizza, don't hesitate to order it; it was absolutely wonderful!

We frequently order from this restaurant, and it never fails to impress. The food always arrives hot, and we never have to wait long for it. There was one time when they forgot our fries, but when we called to let them know, they handled it promptly and delivered them within 15 minutes. This is definitely one of the best places around! I just hope they continue to thrive. I order from them nearly four times a week!

The restaurant has greatly improved under new ownership. Our food arrived much quicker this time since it's now Village Pizza. The owner even visited our table to ensure we were happy with the pizza he prepared for us. If you've been disappointed in the past, I encourage you to give it another chance with the new management.
