High quality dishes and options for younger children available. The service was friendly and the opposite of rushed. Lovely local wines by the glass.

What a joy it is to return to Les Carrasses for dinner with friends. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The staff are invariably charming and attentive, the food is refined and delicious and the ambiance warm and unpretentious. A gem located in an idyllic location.

We visited twice last week. The first time we could not get in; our fault. We had not made a reservation and they had a function on. The setting is superb in a stunning Chateau on high ground with expansive views. The food was very good as was the service. The only downside was the archetypal loud English bar flys who just sat at the bar for two hours and for their amusement let their dogs chase the hotel cat named Princess around the garden. This did not spoil a delightful evening as the restaurant soon filled up and the convivial conversation soon drowned out the English bores.

This place gets better. The BBQ this evening was better than last year and the buffet choices were terrific. Despite a heatwave and insects which were kept at bay, everything was informally great including attentive serving staff. Highly recommended.
