On September 5, 2021, I revisited Hell Ramen (3rd Avenue) and once again ordered it. Although it has nothing to do with Fukufuku-san, I recently had the opportunity to eat "Hell Spicy Garlic" Peyang Yakisoba. With just one bite, my mouth and tongue were left tingling and numb from the vulgar and violent spiciness of the Peyang. Of course, I couldn't even finish it. At that moment, I couldn't help but think. Although Hell Ramen in Izumizaki is spicy, it also has flavor, and in this day and age when spicy foods are trending, Hell Ramen made me feel its long history. However, be prepared for the challenge of finishing the soup, as the chili peppers sink to the bottom. And when you finish the soup, your head will sweat even in winter. In the past, there was Hell Ramen up to 5th Avenue, and I remember seeing the names of those who finished it on the wall. Now it's up to 4th Avenue, and the balance of flavor and spiciness is perhaps best at 3rd Avenue? At the 3rd Avenue level, even your scalp will start to sweat. This time, I added half-fried rice and dumplings. Towards the end, the chili powder will settle in the soup. The homemade noodles are delicious.
I have been coming to this place for about 20 years now. No matter when I go, the food is always consistently delicious. The famous Hell Ramen goes up to level 4, and I have only tried up to level 3 so far. I am hesitant to try level 4, but I think I will eventually. Spiciness has been trendy lately, but the combination of spiciness and deliciousness here is irresistible. I usually go for the fried rice set, but today I decided to go for a large serving of miso ramen.
地獄ラーメンたるものが人気の様ですが、当方は炒飯推しです。 ラーメンの具材 ナルト、焼豚、メンマ、ネギ を刻んで炒めた炒飯はどこにもない絶品ですよ。 真似て自宅で作りますが所詮真似で敵いません。
地獄ラーメン１丁目がオススメ！ あの何とも言えない独特のとろみ？の程よい甘辛さが美味しいです。 昔は７丁目まで有ったらしい。 食べてみたかったなぁーf(^ ^
