Bidra med feedbackI love visiting Lori at Whiskey Creek farm. They are open on Saturdays and do a lovely farm to table lunch, desserts, warm drinks, breads and baked goods. You would never know it but everything is gluten free. People come from all reaches of the island to buy the bread here. She also sells eggs, chicken, and fruits and vegetables grown at the farm. They do a lovely farm to table dinner once a month at all. The property is like a magical fairy garden. Everything is beautifully decorated with lovely antique and collectable items. Take a wander around the garden, say hi to the chickens and enjoy your meal/snack in the dinning room. They are even a licensed chicken processor on Tuesdays if you need, but they book up fast. Also they use recyclable and compostable take away containers. In fact they are the only place I have ever seen cardboard coffee cup lids.
Good food, great service, awesome people, all in a wonderful farm garden setting. Will definitely be back. Too bad they're only open Saturdays.
This place looks like a fairytale garden, in a moment you walk in you see the love to this little place from the owner. They unfortunately open only on Saturday between 10-5 pm. But they sell gluten free bread and sweets, or you take your brunch or lunch ion the romantic terrace or in the garden. Also they sale organic fresh fruit and vegetables and eggs from chicken they produce, so no meal chick is here scared, because they only want hens. We are so happy that we found this mindfulness place, and can have eggs again after years. Thank you the humanitarian way to produce eggs and for this lovely place.
Had lunch here yesterday and it was amazing. The grounds are lovely and peaceful, with seating in the yard among the many flowers and fruit trees. Food was absolutely wonderful. Everything is gluten free. Picked up 2 loaves of freshly made bread in the bakery on our way out. I would highly recommend this wonderful little place 'in the middle of nowhere '!
Aesthetically beautiful place with lovely local produce, fresh baked goods including a full selection of gluten-free breads and Incredibly decadent desserts made by hand. There is a little farm shack which has local produce and fresh/frozen raised on the ground gmo free chicken. Thank you for that guys! The grounds are beautiful and it's kind of like a compound with multiple little buildings all over the place and a little gem of a hidden garden in the back, don't forget to go take a stroll through there and say hi to the chickens. I love that they have a pain at the back for the chickens that are done there work as egg layers and getting to live out their retirement a little bit. They also do an all local BYOB Farm Fresh dinner the last Saturday of every month. Fresh, local and organic but expect to pay for that with a pretty steep price tag at $80/person. The only drawback is that they are seriously understaffed. The owners obviously love their business and what they are doing, but haven't hired anyone to help them. They were incredibly busy, stressed out and the wait times were very long. If you know that going in it's fine, but this isn't a quick grocery or coffee stop by any means. So either go quite early or expect to relax and wait and then wait some more when you're ready to pay your bill. Oh and as an addendum, the produce/chicken shop is open other days thn sat. but do call ahead to be sure.
