Bidra med feedbackAfter seeing positive reviews, I decided to give this restaurant a try. However, having lived in Singapore for a long time and knowing the high standard of seafood there, I was not impressed with the dishes here. The shrimp sauce was overly seasoned and both the Mardi Gras and Salted Egg dishes were disappointing. I was not satisfied with the food and don't plan on returning for a second visit.
We love the salted egg sauce Shrimp buckets. Sulit sya sa price nya, although you really need to wait. Not ideal for children who hate seafood. The mango shake and other drinks are also expensive. Overall, I would recommend this place for those who like to eat seafood.
We decided to give this place a try even though no one was there. It turned out we were just early. That was no issue. We were received and seated very cordially. Water was almost immediately placed on the table. We took our time to...decide and they were patient with us. As soon as we placed our orders, we were handed gloves so that we do mess up our hands when peeling the shrimps. When the food was served, it was a surprise; the quantity was way above our expectations. The other surprise came when we started eating; everything was delicious and well done. Given the great value, the very cordial and personal service and the fantastic taste and quality of food, we promise to go again and again.
I have visited Shrimp Bucket at UP Town Center, BGC, and Greenhills, but I have to say that their branch at Solenad has the freshest ingredients. The shrimp and mussels were incredibly tasty and generously sized. One serving of rice was not sufficient for my meal.
The best seafood experience I've had since my first visit to Shrimp Bucket in Cebu. I'm not sure if they are connected, but ever since then, I knew there was a place where I could enjoy their famous shrimp buckets again. Fortunately, there is now a location in Nuvali. It truly feels satisfying to be able to dine there once more.
