Red Moon - Put-in-Bay

Liquor tastes watered down and sent back an old fashioned because it didn’t taste correct and the waitress actually tasted the drink and said it was fine. Then charged us for a drink that was sent back. Also ordered a makers mark in the rocks and was sooooo light in color and watered down. Do not waste your time with this place.

Understaffed and overpriced. The service was poor, and prices were not posted. Our fault for not verifying.

We had an amazing experience! The atmosphere was amazing and the bartenders all went out of their way to make us have a fantastic time. We went on a Friday night and it was very calm and relaxed. On Sunday it was definitely hopping and they still served us extraordinarily fast. I have seen some reviews say that it’s too loud to be a speak easy, but you have to remember you’re in Put In Bay on the weekend ?‍. I cannot remember the name of the bartender the first night but he was really efficient and funny. The second night Delaney took care of us and she made the experience amazing! Not to mention the drinks were perfect! I look forward to coming back!

Went to Red Moon tonight and ordered a whiskey sour…did not taste like any whiskey sour I’ve ever had. Was very sour and tasted like ingredients had gone bad. The bartender poured it in a new glass and added soda water and ice to fix it and said I would be charged regardless if I didn’t like the drink. First picture is what I originally ordered and second picture is when he tried to “fix” it. Terrible customer service…especially after waiting 15 minutes to get my drink after ordering. Not to mention, this is no longer a speakeasy atmosphere. When I came here before volume levels were strictly enforced and the lighting was dim…like a speakeasy should be. Will not be returning.
