Manzu A Beachfront - Puntarenas

Beautiful setting of the best waiting staff / service that I had in cr. the drinks were great, that was also eating. the lights went out while the sun was still up and the waiters literally got on all four to dig a hole for Tiki torches. we had the sea bass special and tuna manzu, which was so ceratiw and tasteful. although the price on the higher side is, I believe that the service and food quality combined for them. would recommend for a nice night.

We've enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner while staying at the Nantipa. Between my family we've tried pretty much everything on the menu and it's all been amazing. Service is friendly and efficient, when we were pressed for time due to a tour pickup they were able to feed us and get us out the door on time.

Great restaurant with very kind personnel and amazing views at the beach and sunset. We had dinner and drinks a couple of times because it was not loud and not so crowded, maybe because the prices are quite high for this region. Food quality is very high, the plates look really very good and taste very good. 4 stars because it seems a bit too expensive for the area (infrastructure in Santa Teresa is barely existent, etc Free parking possibilities at the entrances to the resort.

Came here for dinner as recommended. The location is superb as well as the layout. I think we arrived at the back end of the shift (at 7.30-8pm) as he waitress went to ask if we were allowed in! Service was efficient but not very friendly. The menu was limited with only 2 salads available. We ordered a bottle of wine and some beers then had main course each of fish fillet x2 and sea bass. The food was of good quality but no better than the other restaurants nearby and the quantity was disappointing with not much fish or vegetables. The cost was very expensive being 2-3 times as expensive as restaurants on the high street and I don’t think the food warrants that price gap. Great if you want a superb location and have lots of money to spend plus not very hungry!

Food was great. The service was terrible. We had the only table with a reservation at 8pm. We came at 8:20. The place was empty. Again, food was great. We spent $1000 on the food and the server pretty much threw the bill at us at 10pm saying “oh we’re closed. Pay it.” This has been the worst service experience in Santa Teresa by a mile.
