Penny's Diner Punta Gorda

Fantastic breakfast experience! Penny is very knowledgeable and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. The pancake in the picture was only half of the actual size! Unfortunately, my Benedict was so good that it disappeared quickly. They don't serve Benedict every day, so I was lucky to have it. Overall, a great experience!

Wive heard about her network that Penny's was a very good breakfast/lunch restaurant. Like every good man, we have the first chance we could go. As soon as we moved to the place, people waited outside to get in. I really don't wait more than 30 minutes for breakfast, but it's Valentine's Day we did. As for breakfast, it is difficult to get a 5-star rating IMO. Eggs are eggs. Bacon is bacon. Toast is toast. That was Penny's over and beyond. The staff was incredibly busy and still had time to ask us how our day went, smiled and quickly took our order and got it into an undersized kitchen. Our breakfast was perfect! Give this place a try and don't worry about the Beait time.

After our recent lunch outing, we were impressed with the friendly and efficient service. Our drinks never ran out and the Reuben sandwich was one of the best I've ever had, with tender corned beef. My wife's fries and patty melt were also delicious!

This diner is one of the best I have ever visited. The staff was incredibly friendly! Although we only stopped in for drinks, the food looked and tasted amazing.

Great food. Great people. Highly supportive of the veteran community and just a feel good place to be.
