Great place for tasty fish and chips. The fish of the day was gurnard which makes for a great choice with chunky chips. Washed down with a lager made for a great lunch catch up with friends. The Monach has a nice spot out front in the sun for a long leisurely lunch.

Spur of the moment dinner date that made hubby and I very happy! Generous portion of eye fillet steak for $45, which isn't listed on the menu but rather on the specials board. Cooked perfectly. Pork belly was divine and the cauliflower was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Service was good with greeting at the door, followed up quickly by drinks service and ordering. Nice atmosphere with a simple yet artful decor. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, great service. Had a very enjoyable time. I had the Bouillabaise/Seafood dish it was excellent! My wife Sue had the Duck Rissoto which was equally as good We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was a constant stream of patrons arriving, which says it all. ...highly recommend the place!

Had a wonderful yummy quick service for dinner last night. Food and drinks were quick which was great as we pushing it to get to a movie. Salt and pepper calamari was the best I have had in a while, nice big plate full and the bruschetta was perfect. We will be back!
