L'astoria Restaurant Bar A Vin

We were on the canal de Midi on a boating holiday and git stuck between 2 locks near this village. We booked this restaurant by phone and walked the mile into the village. However the TripAdvisor location was incorrect. When we called the restaurant to ask them where they were, the proprietor's wife came and picked us up in the car. The food was excellent and the wine from the nearby château was super and reasonable value. Our hosts were very friendly and service was brilliant if maybe a little slow but that's all part of the night.

Being trapped by the closed lock, we have moored near Puichéric. The 1st restaurant found open is actually super place with good food, good wine and a prod Chef.

What a beautiful encounter with this extraordinary and wonderful leader. The only and unique in the world that presents the pieces of meat we will eat! It's cooler, it's delicious and hearty! A wonderful welcome! Coffee offered! Thank you, sir! Come on! Take the time. I really recommend!!! Take your boat and walk. You will not regret it!
