Domaine Du Bercail - Puget-sur-Argens

Superb friendly service in a lovely setting….what a gem. Recommended by friends but never quite managed to pay a visit until today. We have been missing out for so long. We will visit again. Cannot recommend Le Bercail enough, absolutely fabulous, superb quality, good service and presentation, exceptional value.

This cafeteria style restaurant with a lovely big terrace is just a short distance from the autoroute between Aix en Provence and Nice and well worth a stopover. We arrived early for lunch and settle into the air-conditioned dining room. The staff made us feel welcome even though it was slightly too early for lunch. When the restaurant opened my husband chose a mixed grill and a large salad with melon and ham while I tried the steak tartar and a tomato cucumber salad. The menu changes daily and there is plenty of variety. Wine from the vineyard is available but we are on the wagon. Efficient service by the mildly handicapped but well-trained staff. Even the coffee is great. Prices are modest too. Very popular with locals. If you want a table on the terrace might be wise to reserve. Only open for lunch Monday through Friday.

Checked reviews, from the phone reception to the attention quality of the waitress by thinking through a simple, effective menu, well prepared with fresh and tasted products. All the ingredients are here to have a good time and to eat well.

Very good restaurant, we were a beating of more than 15 people and we were served at record speed. The dishes were very good, the value for money is unbeatable. Get your eyes closed!!

Good dishes, careful service, very good wines! A place to visit!
