Bidra med feedbackIt was magnificent: the food, the view, the service, the ambience. Wonderful. My husband and I went with another couple; my husband hadn't wanted to go to Puerto Vallarta, so I researched the best place to have our first meal and our first excursion the following day. La Iguana came through in stellar fashion. The fish was fresh and tasty; the ceviche had huge fresh pieces of fish (including octopus); everything was delicious. One of the reviews we read advised to ask for a table by a window, which we did, and I think we got the best seat in the house. Windowless walls allowed for a fresh breeze and a full luxury experience. The lighting and styling was subtle and yet spectacular. The only part of the food that was a disappointment was that the squash blossoms were sold out. After dinner, we walked downtown, past the cathedral, and felt very safe after dark. My husband was sold on the trip after that dinner, and our friends thanked me profusely for starting their vacation off with that amazing experience. And that is what it was, a full experience.
Well don’t think a trip to Puerto Vallarta is complete without a visit to casa Kimberly and dinner at Iguana’s. We had never been and this was such an amazing experience. The place is absolutely magical, our waiter, Salvador was the best and the food was so exceptional! There was also a 13 piece mariachi band that just threw this experience over the top. I really never wanted to leave!! Oh also I have to mention the cocktails. We had their signature cocktail, the Iguana. It’s potent but so so good. Come to Iguanas and be swept away with the magic and history
We made reservations for the evening. We were greeted warmly as we were seated at our table by all of the staff. The cocktails were delicious, the food was great, and the views were spectacular. We all were dressed nice and had no dress code issues. The history of the building was very interesting. We will return.
Beautiful villa that was owned by Elizabeth Taylor transformed into a top shelf restaurant. The food was excellent. The service impeccable. You could tour parts of the villa and there were some antiques to see. You would never know this place exists by just driving by.
In a good way. Always and unforgettable experience. Wonderful food, gorgeous setting, amazing service and the best mariachis in Vallarta. It is not cheap but worth it in every way.
