Bidra med feedbackThis is a place we love to visit when their is a chance to escape from our busy weekdays. So no wonder its being quite a while. Service was very attentive . Location is well preserved or maybe maintained. Food was pretty good, fresh, hot and as expected. As some members mentioned, the steaks are great. Can't wait to escape again!
The best brunch in San Juan!! the new concept for the restaurant in Punta las Marias has a market where you can get fresh baked goods and delicious coffee. We had brunch on Sunday and decided we want to make this a tradition! The service is superb and the food is delicious. Five stars!
The place is comfortable though I was told they would be moving to newer and updated facilities soon. Service is top notch and attention is second to none. The food, though, is another thing. I had not been back for, at least, 5-7 years... I ordered Churrasco Rissotto and it was a nightmare. I am not a meat lover so I decided to make an exception of the rule for the special visit. The meat was flavorless and very rubbery. The portion was good but there was no taste to be found. My wife ordered Mushroom Rissotto and it was also bland in taste and very gooey... Maybe it was that they but I left with a sour taste and maimed feelings; sorry I meant to say No Taste...sorry.
Not gonna lie. This place has been around for quite some time. The food is very good. If you like Argentinian fare this could be a stop for you. But there are a couple of things that kind of bother me. When you step into the restaurant is smells musty. I'm not sure if it the greenhouse type entrance but the odor is pretty prevalent. The service was slow. I dined early today and it was not busy at all. Even to pay the bill it was slow. But i did order my favorite dessert. The crepes with dulce de leche and an espresso coffee. And it was as good as 20 years ago. If you come to dine make sure you have time.
The food at the place was well put together. Good taste and drinks were good and cold. My only issue was the service extremely slow for a place that was not full and have plenty of staff. Other than that I recommend the beef short rib, the cowboy cut ribeye and chorizo.
