It was ok; they were really nice to work with me, but I wonder if the menu changed somewhat since COVID. You do not have so many gluten-free or vegan options. I have GF Pasta with oil, garlic and vegetables. It was good, but wished there was a way the other person talked about it.

This place is incredible! The atmosphere is perfect! Open to a beautiful small calle with great views, an open kitchen with a fireplace grill whwre you can smell the incredible aromas of fresh pizzas and pastas made right in front of you. The process is like works of art! Excellent music helps to create the perfect ambience. By far the best part of this wonderful gem to find in the most beautiful beach town is that they have numerous gluten-free and vegan options. I have selected a freshly made gluten-free and vegan penne pasta from fresh basil and garlic pesto. It was elevated.... Our server Chepo went beyond and beyond to ensure that the order was correct, and for ordering me with so many food intolerances and preferences as I have, this was a task! I had a house salad to begin, and the balsamic reduction drizzled atop was a perfect balance of the tart sweet. I had the fire oven roasted vegetables on the side, and the taste of the wood was delicious in every bite to the wonderful aromas that in any kind of vegetables. My friend and I actually went to another restaurant when we met Diego, the owner of this incredible facility along the way. We told him that we were both vegan and gluten-free and he assured us that Osteria Barocca had several choices to adapt our dietary needs, and if we didn't want something on the menu, they would easily get to our question and mood as every dish will be fresh and order without exceptions. We were very pleasantly surprised and plan to return here for more delicious flavors and dishes every day of our holiday! We notified him that we were both vegan and gluten free and he assured us that Osteria Barocca had several choices to fit our dietary needs, and if we desired anything not on the menu they would easily cater to our every ask and whim as every dish is made fresh and to order, with no exceptions. We were very pleasantly surprised and plan to return for more delicious flavors and dishes every single day of our vacation here!
