Joe's Gourmet Burgers - Provo

This place is wonderful! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. They have the best burgers and milkshakes and flavored frits. MOST IMPORTANTLY: It is a small family house. It's hard not to tip big when you know it's a sweet little family. The food is not super fast, but only because those who do it are not chefs. You're normal people. There are no heat lamps. It's fresh and wonderful.

Dinner alone makes this place worth it. Best Burger is the area... I'll say again, the Stoneman Burger, is the BEST BURGER! I burned off the first bite. The atmosphere in the afternoon is dead, but I love the burger. I'll go again. The original fries were okay, I had better. I want to try her sweet potatories next time.

I went back there a few months when I was in town and I was this place LOVED. I usually don't order mushrooms on a burger, but I was talking to the Stoneman Burger and it was incredible. As others mentioned, it is not fast food or a terrible efficient operation, but it was one of the best burgers I had. Also ordered the gourmet hot dog they have on the menu; it was great too. I can't wait until I get back to Provo to return to this place.

The only reason I don't give them 5 is that for renovations she's serious the DAY AFTER I first tried one of her Stoneman burgers. It was the best burger either I or my husband had ever had - the meat was perfectly cooked and very tasty, and the crazy cacophony of aromas on the burger somehow went all together and harmonized into a symphony in your mouth. Every bite became better and better until the last. It was serious THAT GOOD. Then they closed up later for RECHTSSACHE. Cruel! We asked how long they were closed, oh, a few weeks, they said. Yeah. Eight months are not even a bit close to a few weeks. And they also have the price of their amazing burgers 3-4$!! I will still pay to get one because they were amazingly tasty, but if it wasn't as good as I remembered, or their quality slips a little, it would probably not be worth going back again because you have a decent burger and fries elsewhere for less that not only CLOSE for ever, if you least expect it .

Awesome. Best burger around. Great environment. I've only been for lunch, but I have yet to be disappointed. Bonus: Free pool and ping-pong while you wait for your order. :
