First impression is always the lasting impression. That being said the hostess greeted myself and company with a warm hello and big smile. Next came the our waiter Nick who was awesome. Knowledgeable of the menu, gave great recommendations and was attentive. What I also appreciated about my excellent experience was that the owner had come over as well to check on us. All and all I highly recommend Somo for a night out with friends, family or a date.

Made a reservation after reading the review in The Providence Journal. We were not disappointed. Excellent meal, great selection. Even offer gluten free soy sauce.

Went for an early dinner after a show at PPAC. (4p Sunday) Mike was the server/gardener was very knowledgeable friendly. Everything he recommended was on site!! Very different types of rolls offered, along w many different appetizers like Auberginen-Tempura, Burrata w pears, dumplings, which were top-notch. Beautiful room with beautiful large tables, full, beautiful bar. Perfect for a date or family... Chef Nino presented himself a generous, warm host in front of a very diverse background!!! I would highly recommend Somo! We're coming back!
