Really good American Chinese. asian palace has the best Chinese food I have eaten in providence. I tried the huh of general tso, orange huh, nim chow, cashew chicken and hot and acid soup. the prices are somewhat higher than competing restaurants only on the street (apsara palast, gourmet kitchen), but eating in the asian palace is definitiw tastier and serving are in the regular large enough for two meal times. ambiente is beautiful and service is attentive, although the place never seems very busy.
Food and services. eating is not good, I don't care if the restaurant is authentic or American, eating can be a little good. this place has bad tasting eating, some dishes were very salty, some were very embarrassing. the service is too pushy. if we wish more beer, even if we were not even finished the half of the first beer, but they never refilled water if not asked.
Food good, but.... If you enjoy having sake with your sushi don't go to Aian. One saki was $13.95, so the sticker shock of 27.90 on our lunch bill quickly made us forget how good the $10.00 tuna dumpling was. The price was not listed on the menu. The wine list was very expensive also. We won't be back. There are to many good sushi places around that don't overcharge for drinks.
Disappointed by typical americanized cuisine.. Unfortunately, the usual salty, over-greased Asian fare. I ordered the Cashew Chicken lunch special with pork fried rice and wanton soup. (take-out) I started with the soup which had a rather bland yellow broth with slightly chewy wantons. Overall, the experience was salty and flavorless with only a tinge of scallion. Once I was finished with the soup, which I often use to judge the freshness of a restaurant, I moved on to the rice. Again it was your average oily, dark brown rice with traces of a few vegetables.
