Bidra med feedbackLobster rolls can be very hit-or-miss. La La Lobster was a huge hit! I ordered the salad style for me and the spicy style for my husband (our friend ordered it with butter). The lobster meat was fresh, plump and GENEROUSLY presented to us on perfectly toasted buns. We had such a satisfying meal. Simple fare, but very special. Hopefully, this will be a fixture in Palmer Square for many years to come.
My husband and I went to La La Lobster in Princeton for a date night and everything was so delicious! I had the lobster roll, he had a shrimp bowl and we shared a lobster mac n cheese. We highly recommend!!
Depending on what you compare it with you can rate it differently. Anyway my own lobster meat was cold, overcooked and dry, the bun wasn't toasted and was soggy, I didn't feel any butter on the meat, no salad or anything else in the roll, a quarter of a pickle on the side with a small bag of cape cod chips. With the tip it's 25$ a piece. The service was fast and polite. Overall incomparable to the Main or Rhode island ones we've had for the same price. Not worth it.
Went here with my girlfriend this weekend. This place probably has the best lobster rolls in Central Jersey; I've had a few and this blows them out of the water. I got the spicy lobster roll with chips and a pickle, and I was super happy with the quality of the seafood and the taste of the overall roll. I do wish the portion sizes for the price were slightly larger, but I can't really complain it's just that good. Definite recommend if you're in town.
I was excited to try out this new place at Palmer's Square. I got the classic lobster roll, and my husband had the spicy one, which really is not spicy. I thought $21 for a small lobster roll, 1/4 of a pickle and a small bag of chips was pretty pricey, especially when the food is just average. The lobster meat was very cold and the bun was mushed...????
