Dairy Queen - Prince George

This is hands down the worst fast food I have had in a long time. My daughter insisted on taking us to this diner for dinner, and the food seemed cold and appeared to have been prepared hours ago. I just hope none of us end up getting sick.

I ordered a banana smoothie and found it to be quite chunky. I requested a refund and was met with very rude and racist remarks from the manager. The overall customer service was very poor.

Today, I decided to go for a walk and treat myself to some ice cream, so I stopped by Dairy Queen. However, I ended up needing a restroom and didn't want to wait until I got home. When I asked the cashier if they had a public restroom, she directed me to a nearby location at the Four Seasons swimming pool, which I realized was actually a homeless shelter for men. As a social worker with access to my own facilities, I was taken aback by the response and decided to just order my ice cream, call a taxi, and go home. I was disappointed by the manager's attitude and felt insulted by the interaction. I will not be returning to this Dairy Queen location again.

Located in the bustling downtown of PG, we visited this Dairy Queen after a delightful repast at the local White Spot Restaurant. When we had a Hankering for ice cream treats, we knew DQ would hit the spot. When we arrived shortly after 8PM, the restaurant was empty – and it remained so for the duration of our 20 minutes to eat. The Drive-Thru was another thing. It was hectic and busy, but more at a moment. The rooms were clean and quiet and thus provide a relaxing environment where we can enjoy our desserts. We ordered a strawberry sunshade, peanut buster paper and a banana split. All articles were quickly prepared, had beautiful presentation and, most importantly, tasted quite divine. The strawberry sun places served with Dairy Queens delicious soft, complete with the signature “curl” and a beautiful portion of delicious strawberry sauce. Talk about a refreshing dessert! The banana column was just as beautiful – covered with strawberry, banana and pineapple toppings – although I felt it was a bit hard on the whipped cream. And the peanut buster paper? That thing was just a beauty. Hot fudge and DQ soft serve is a game made in heaven! It was when we were ready to go that we noticed how busy the drive was AND how bad the parking situation is at this point. In short, parking is basically a premium. When the drive-thru is busy, there is a good chance that you will be locked, though at the moment as you try to go (as we did). This little snafu aside, but we had a positive experience in this DQ. FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 5/5 RECOMMENDATION: Well, it's a dairy queen, so you know quite a lot what to expect from the one. But, hey, if the desire for some soft serve strikes . . . Came down with the kids to get a meal and some blizzards. The lady server was so bitter and angry taking my order. I felt like crying no help no mention of deals then when I mention that the server needs to lighten up and...try to smile that she is intimating me as she supposed to be helping take my order. The lady asked me if I was serious yes I am I feel like crying and your taking my order. She states that she been doing this for 30 yrs. Oh my lady please this is where family come and maybe great with a smile. If someone says that's your customer service skills and a problem they are so dont laugh at your customers. I will NEVER come back , bring my kids, bring my family wheres the manager The restrant is so dirty but not one table was cleaned while I was there. The kids thought your would spit in our food after your reaction matched your face .
