Green Turtle - Prince Frederick

I usually do take out, the service in the bar is sub standard. The food here is pretty darn good. I'm here working for a month and everything I have gotten so far have been really good. The three times I sat at the bar to order food, I had to wait on water and everything after. They need new bartenders that give a **** and they need to ban the use of their phones while on shift! That said... The buffalo chicken sandwich is hand breaded and awesome! The chicken Chesapeake is really good as well. I've had them both twice, great each time. The tenders are really good, hand breaded as well. The Hog Hammers are super meaty! Happy hour has half price app, but then you gotta deal with the slow service.

This place is OK. Maybe slightly above average. I like the calm setting when dining here for lunch during the week. The sports vibe is OK. The food is average but reasonably priced. I usually go with safe choices though such as the turkey club or one of the burgers. One word of caution: beware the oblivious waiter. Was dining here with some co-workers recently, and after paying our bills, the waiter lost our credit cards. Took about 35 minutes for him to locate them. When I checked my bank statement later (had to, knowing that this goof probably messed up the order), I was charged two times. Had to call the manager, who denied any discrepancy, but was obvious they scrambled to get my card straightened out after I called. An apology for losing our credit cards or for charging me twice would have been appropriate. It takes a big man to admit one 's own mistake. I 'm looking at you, Green Turtle. I 'd still go back but it 's not my first choice for lunch out anymore.

We came in for a quick dinner. We had the Irish chips appetizer. It came out with cold cheese which was not good. The cheese steak was fair, it was not very tasty. We also had the Slamma Jamma Tenders which were good, all the different sauces made them fun.

Grabbed lunch here the other day and really enjoyed it. There were six of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. I got an order of Buffalo wings that were delicious. Nice sized and cooked just right. My entree was a mushroom and Swiss cheeseburger. It was delicious as well. I always order medium rare but often fear the cooks interpretation of med rare but he/she got it right here. Even my fries were fresh and delicious. The service was friendly, attentive and fast. The restaurant was very clean to my surprise. Not sure why but I thought it wouldn't be up to snuff but it definitely was. Even the restrooms were clean. We sat in the main dining room but I got a chance to peek at the bar area and it looked like a great spot to watch a game. Plenty of tv's and seating. I'd definitely recommend trying this spot and will return the next time I'm in the area.

They are doing false advertising and getting away with it! I have a coupon with the right time and right place yet manager says it is not taking the coupon period. This is wrong and probably illegal
