Lam Asia Cuisine - Prien am Chiemsee

Food is just average and the service is poor...we waited around 30min for the first dish.......

04.05.2016 Short break with WoMo am Chiemsee at Camping Hofbauer. After we had set up a house on the campsite, my wife and I went for a walk and looked for a restaurant for dinner. Our first goal to visit the fishermen's farm on the southwestern shore of Pedesse was of little success, because along the road approx. 1900 m long was no footpath visible before the intersection. For a return in the evening after a return to complete darkness, a march along the road seemed too dangerous. So we turned to the city centre and met Asia Lam Cuisine after about 2.2 km walk in Hochgernstraße. A view through the guest room windows and another one on the hanging map made us curious. We were received neutral by a waiter. He offered us both a table for two perssons. He said to us and we took place. The jackets had to be taken to the wardrobe near the entrance. The table candle was fired immediately and the cards were handed over immediately. The no longer valid lunch card has been added. In the meantime we had some time to look around in the guest room. In the relatively modern premises that reminded me of a former supermarket or a generous bank branch, the walls were partly occupied with a dark red color decoration. A few large-format images of three-dimensional Asian landscapes as well as various knoddasculptures were the spatial design in addition to a large space-dominating aquarium. As with most Asians, the menu of the standard card was more than extensive here, without the lunch card being valid in the evening. Appetizers, soups, pigs, beef . Chicken meat, ducks, fish dishes in different variants and... We found the necessary prices without knowing the quality as a human being. We ordered two different crispy duck dishes. 1x Gäng Phed Ped sharp or mild up to 12.50 € 1x Canton Duck vegetables sharp on 12.50 €. My wife chose the mild way of preparation from the first court. We read about drinks: 1x Lychee Schorle 0.5 ltr to 2.80 € 1x Wieninger Weißbier dark 0.5 ltr to 3.20 €. The drinks were served quickly and well cooled. The two dishes were freshly prepared and so it took something until they were placed on hot plates at the table. The sections were plentiful and were optically placed on large rectangular plates. A bowl of rice and also large modern plates also stimulated our taste nerves. We both agreed that the courts were very good. My wife, besides pleasant apron, felt the sharpness ratio as very balanced and as desired mild. My court called a shame, had a certain sharpness, but the last fool in my hometown was much sharper! ABER: At the table there was salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and CHILIE paste! So, whoever it was MILD, he could surrender himself! Only if it gets too sharp, it was your fault! For both dishes it is true that the duck meat crispy with panade baked in extremely rustic and delicate; so we like it. The service was spiritual! There, but not there! Rather a little stubborn and almost wordless! The background music we felt was chosen to fit into the volume and controlled. Toilets: Clean but: Both men and women, most of the toilet facilities found were taken out with shields DEFEKT!? Another note: The prices on the map did not exactly match those on the ticket! Today it was our advantage!?

Enjoyed a family meal here this evening. The service was quick but the food was better. Decor is somewhat basic. My 'very hot' number 87 was perfect and after tastimg my family's dishes I was impressed with the overall tastes.

This restaurant is amazing with many dishes from different Asian countries. The price was very reasonable. Above all, the staffs were very friendly, always keep a smile on their face!!!
