Hotel Luitpold am See

Wir haben hier an einem sonnigen Tag die tolle Aussicht auf den Bootsanleger und den Chiemsee genossen. Die beiden Grillgerichte, die wir hatten wurden frisch zubereitet und schmeckten extrem lecker. Die Bedienung wirkte etwas mürrisch, war aber noch okay.

Wenn man den Chiemsee besucht, sollte man unbedingt die Jause in dem Restaurant Luitpold am See einnehmen.Die Lage ist direkt am See. Sonnenschirme spenden genug Schatten und die angenehme Brise vom See lassen auch Rekordtemperaturen zu. Empfehlungen: Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, Apfelkuchen, Erdbeertorte, Himbeertorte. Mehr konnten wir nicht essen, der Magen war zu klein. Die Tortenportionen waren riiiiesig!

We came to the place for lunch and founded very nice BBQ meals, also suitable for my daughter with gluten free diet. Price / quality ratio was very good and excellent environment for outdoor eating (when weather is nice!) Service was good and fairly fast too!

Das Essen unterer durchschnitt, aber jeder fällt in das Lokal da es direkt an der Schifffahrt liegt.

This restaurant is right by the entrance to the harbour, so it has a great view of the ships coming in, the lake, and the mountains beyond. There are lovely blue checked table cloths which promise traditional food and service. There were plenty of choices on the menu, with good German food, and several Italian options. The food was served very promptly and it was very tasty. I recommend the choices from the BBQ. We were left to relax watching the boats and the lake. A sudden downpour encouraged us to move indoors, where there were plenty of tables laid out in private booths. We ordered hot chocolates and liqueurs, as the weather had turned quite dramatically, and these were also served quickly. The bill was surprisingly cheap.
