Came with my family for dinner after a long hard week's work I needed a good steak but was disappointed as the steak was not close to 500g as advertised. It was as tuff as rubber even being raw instead of medium rare. Send it back to the kitchen and she brought the same one back with extra basting and close to medium rare but it was too thin and tuff to get it medium rare. The griller will never get it right with press test as the meat is too tough due to defrosted methods. I told the waiter this steak is tuff and was frozen! She called the manager and he confirmed steak was defrosted yesterday and he blamed loadshedding for losses and will make it up to me. I ended up paying R155 for that 400g raw rubber not eaten. Guys, get a generator or small solar panel or UPS for the fridge to save your food. Service was not bad, judging on what we have in South Africa as majority for well spoken waiters. The rest of the food we ordered was good, no complains.
