Bidra med feedbackLarge fund in prestwich, looks small from outside, but also has a large upper floor area, eating was beautiful, service was great, reasonable price, good portions, beautiful homemade brot / cockpits, bringing them their own alcohol, only served softdrinks, tees, coffee etc., really enjoyed our meal, beautiful atmosphere as well as, authentic decoration, will go back.
I don't know why I'm going all the way to the most city centre when there's so local location! this place is a hidden gem! my friend ordered the kartoffel kebbeh this were small and charming with a thin crusty texture on the outside and the kartoffel and lamb mint on the inside. I ordered the sucuk, thin slices of a spicy bark sausage, the aromen were strong and multiish. these were served with a basket made of homemade white flatbread, which were incredibly fresh and soft they were pitta shaped, but were fluffy and kissy, not the hard dry white things they get in super markets! the waiter assured us that it was always available bready and safe enough we had another basket of beautiful bread with our main dishes. we both ordered the chef’s mix, the spits of charcoal grilled marinated meatshuh, chopped lamb and lamb cut pieces, served on a bed of swash and petersilie and a chili sauce. we also ordered a Mudjadara rice between us as a juxtaposition a mixture of lenses and rice, which is cooked in seasons and covered with crispy roasted laeks. we both agreed that the taste profile of the meat was quite similar to other nearby places (e.g. Turkish restaurants that were flavored here and above all better balanced, the meat preparation was excellent. here the hunch was juicy and tender, not dry and hard, and overall it looks as if they know when they take it from the grill! at others the charcoal grill has left the meat hard and burned at the edges with a bitterness, here everything was boiled directly. Although we were stuffed and only looked at an Arab coffee, we both encouraged ourselves to dessert. Unfortunately, the halwa of my friend was not available, so he joined me in a muhallebia. now normally I'm not one to disturb with a dessert, I prefer craps to pralinen and would rather start and be headed and dessert instead! and we were incredibly filled! but this dessert killed my mind a delicious milky pudding, not too dissimilar to a panna-citta, but fluffier and less silky in the texture. but the aromen wore the sweet vanilla with a toning of rose water, it was truly the heavens and I haven't felt so much about each dessert for years! garnished with chopped pistachios, that was for me the surprise star of the meal! after strong and fragrant Arab coffee it was a fantastic end for a great culinary experience. the service was friendly and attentive throughout, and I thought the decoration, lighting and music was just perfect for the place. I recommend this place very small and relaxed and deserves attention. I hope it keeps these high standards as I definitely come back and try the other offers (and the muhallebia again! .
