Bidra med feedbackDelicious and unique!<br/ <br/ From the second we walked in we were made to feel at home. The lady serving us was very helpful and attentive. They do a wonderful job showcasing food from the New Orleans area and we did not leave dissapointed... Or hungry! We will be back next time to try the beignets which we have heard are amazing!
From the moment of entrance to both the venue and my mouth was stellar staff felt likes mates, drinks were downed and the food made me sport a bib<br/
K4K never fails to disappoint. Have been here several times for different degustation dinners (amazing value for money! and also dining with friends. Wow the food is on point! Also the Kocktail lounge in the front is the best place for Friday night knockoffs! The Po boys are a HUGE and hush puppies are to die for! Really great serving sizes and the food presentation is beautiful. Some serious soul food here! In an awesome spot in Preston with loads of parking and a good spot to people watch out the front. The bar has an amazing range of beers in the fridge including Abita (the Purple haze is my fav which is from New Orleans and the range of Australian craft beer on tap is refreshing. The sparkling Shiraz from Old Apple Shed is the best I have ever had! Now the staff the most friendly upbeat and lovely people. Jo, the Venue Manager/Owner has the best demeanour and always make you feel right at home, plus her music taste is awesome. The Chef Nick continues to serve amazing food along with his kitchen staff. This is and will be the place to be!
Went out for a few drinks with a mate and we came across this new joint in Preston. Ended up Sharing some chicken and fries washed down with a few wines. Really cool vibe, will be back for sure to try their main meals.
Really impressed with this New Orleans inspired joint, that manages to be both a classy restaurant and a Get Smart themed bar. The food is Southern inspired think cornbread, po’ boys, seafood bisque, jambalaya with plenty of vegetarian options. Our meal began with mini cornbreads, which were sweet, warm and served with maple butter. Then we got the pickles with bread this turned out to be way bigger than expected with about eight different kinds of pickles (including gherkins, cocktail onions, red onions, bread and butter cucumbers and okra) and three chutneys. Everything was super tasty. For the main, I had a truly exceptional gumbo I got the vegetarian option which was a mix of corn, capsicum, beans, okra, onion, loads of spices and pepper in a thick roux, topped with white rice and garnished with chives and parsley. Again, the serving was enormous and such good value for the price. My one regret was that I was too full to order dessert but I’ll definitely be back for that because holy hell, they do beignets, lemon meringue pie AND pecan pie! One of those meals I’ll be thinking about for a long time.
