Giovanni, excellent landlord manages the business with passion and you see. Come on.
We stayed in this place with a group of ten people and unfortunately none of us was satisfied. In fact, not satisfied! We had booked a long time before, since we would have arrived after the pilgrimage to Our Lady of Castelmonte. It is a place not too big, I think do up for down thirty covers or something extra. By itself, the room of the room appears carefully and detailed, but we come to the... What remains is SCORTESIA and MALEDUCATION OF PERSONAL. All childish behaviors in response to simple customer requests, such as eyebrow lifts, broken response in front of delucidations of the entirely legitimate menu being not of the place, answers yes, yes it goes well and escapes from the room. A really embarrassing attitude at certain times, which puts the customer in the condition of not feeling comfortable and above all not asking for anything not to have as an answer no or not to feel treated as a moron. There is no capacity to welcome the customer and treat it as such, but in these years in many places in the area we have had this feeling. As for food, much under expectations. Reduced quantity the cresquilla dish had a 'one crack cut in half with two slices of speck, often cold dishes and where the flavor is totally unknown. Did the roe dish and the triple dish have the same sauce and taste??? . On the other hand, some aspects also suggest the desire to cheat the customer: in addition to the really reduced portions, also writing in the field radicchi menu for which the word is thought of the traditional tarassaco, but that actually turns out to be of the simple mixed salad. Moreover at the time of the ordering of the outlines, the number of portions was cheerfully invented by the waitress, since only two people wanted roasted potatoes and then 4 portions arrived. The prices proposed seem not to be too high, but in the face of the poor amount of food in the dish they are very high! It was also embarrassing to hear the answer of the waitress at the nearby table asking for the small child a pasta sauce of normal tomato and to which it was answered that could not be made because it was required before, or at the time of booking. A tomato paste??? To the face of the welcome and the knowledge to satisfy the requests of the customer. Moreover, it is known that a bottle of wine must be stapped in front of the customer and to us have brought a wine that was not excellent despite it should be of the farm and above all already open! In order not to mention the very long waiting times, not only the kitchen which can also be understandable within a certain limit, but also the service. They spend hours before you can see a waiter pass in order to ask him something else, as well as simply a bottle of water. What to say, for nothing satisfied with this visit and we regret why we chose the place based on reviews. Reviews that by now in 2018 should be the basis of the quality of a local and the mishandling of a customer is certainly not a good business card. Courtesy and availability are at the base of the service and come even before the food in a local. Both for the quality/quantity of food, and for the service this local can only improve! Deeply disappointed in such rudeness! Unthinkable!
We stayed in this farm on the occasion of the pasquetta lunch and, thanks to the beautiful day, we were very satisfied... Very beautiful location and panorama... The room is small but cozy and on the outside there are tables in a nice square... Excellent wine, both bubbles and red and white stops... Given the occasion was proposed a fixed menu that included appetizer of meats and cheeses really great, frittatina and rolls of pastasfoglia and musetto... All right. Bis of first with gnocchetti with sclopit and trophies with sausage and dried tomatoes, special... Second with polenta and vinegar salami and baked coast... Maybe only the coast was a bit too fat, four bottles of wine, dessert, coffee and digestive offered... All at 22 euros per person... It's better than that.
On this heavy Sunday of March we stopped on the advice of a friend in this farm. In this small hamlet of Prepotto, surrounded by the vineyards there is this small farm composed of 5/6 tables inside. The dishes of the day are listed by voice according to the availability of the day. All products made on site and of excellent quality from appetizers, to the first, to the second and to the delicious wine! Really good prices
