Restaurant Orizont - Predeal

This restaurant has been considered a prestigious institution in Predeal since the communist era. The food served cold, empty during the week and the stars fall as the temperature. For a successful evening there are other places where you can eat and drink without leaving... Your salary bonus at Horizon, Predeal, Brasov, Romania!

As always, very friendly staff, specific dishes, not all very tasty, but all în a perfect diner în a wonderful location

Regarding the offer: they have a lot of things in the menu, you can find something to eat even you are a picky person. The only thing that they could improve is the service: the waiters are or too old, or too young and without...experience. Much better are things from this point of view to the other restaurant from the very same hotel: Doina traditional dishes. The atmosphere is not so warm, you feel more or less like in a big and empty space because of the interior design.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. My first problem with a such an expensive restaurant and hotel, is the fact that when it comes to wine, they serve by glass only a very bad house wine, at a 'room temperature ', which they heard...is appropriate for red wine, of 24 degrees. It resembled a sour tea. It 's not every night that you can drink an entire bottle or have someone to share it with, so you should be able to have a decent wine by glass. The A La Carte Menu is quite nice, but very pricey. Except the fact that my beef came almost cold, the food was good. When it comes to buffet menu, the breakfast is unspeakably bad and poor. I can only assume that the meat is bought from discount stores, the omlet is shady at least and when it comes to vegetables the only options were some uncut pale tomatoes. In the same manner, for the festive dinner before Xmas, which was also a self service buffet, the choices were poor, totally unfiting for such an event. They also had a 'children buffet ', with pizza and mini burgers which looked like were frozen an hour before. !!!! The cherry on top, when a lady wanted to have some pizza, as our options were very limited, someone from the staff immediately asked her to have something else, as they have numbered the pieces of burgers and pizzas according to the number of children.

Deception!!! it is not a 4-star restaurant!!! ... Darkness in the restaurant, mp3 music a catastrophe, hours to 9 o'clock, dirty bathroom
