Lago Spina - Pralormo

Ate here twice on a recent visit to Pralormo and environs. Lago Spina is a bit spare on decor, but the food was excellent and the atmosphere very relaxed and comfortable. This was my first trip to the Piedmont region and a lot of the food is really different from, say, Florence much more emphasis on fish, much less on pasta. The cook here has an excellent light touch with fish the octopus carpaccio was delicious and although we blinked at the description, veal with tuna sauce is actually an amazing combination. We even tried raw sausage as part of the salumi sampler...figuring that hey, if you're ever going to eat raw pork, Italy is probably one of the safest places to do it. (It was delicious, and no ill effects. The prices were extremely reasonable...the service was helpful and unobtrusive. Really a nice place to relax after a long day of sight seeing.

Together with my collegues we spent couple of days in Italy and choosed this restaurant for a dinner. Decision was really good. The restaurant and stuff is very good and friendly. We loved the menu and all kind of stuffs. Really worth to go and try.

Very good place to eat fresh and local dishes. The place is very nice with a big window showing the lake next to the restaurant. The waitress was very kind.

Ottimo cibo, vista sul lago, persona molto gentile. Io tornerò sicuramente
