Bidra med feedbackLocated just outside the center of Praia, this restaurant is a great find for those looking to sample veganized versions of traditional Cape Verdean dishes. In addition to Cape Verdean cuisine, they also offer dishes influenced by Portuguese and West African flavors, making it a fantastic choice for those wanting to try local cuisine with a twist. The menu features a wide variety of vegan options, including vegan capucha, vegan omelette, soy protein with potato purée and vegetables, two vegan wraps, vegetarian couscous, salads, savory oatmeal, and a vegan tortilla. Additionally, guests have the option to swap meat for seitan and other vegan alternatives available in their health store. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly, making for a delightful dining experience.
This charming coffee shop offers a limited menu with a small selection of items available for purchase. Unfortunately, protein substitutes like tofu and seitan are not offered, making it challenging to find plant-based options on the island of Santiago. (Reviewed on February 6, 2024)

This cozy restaurant has a variety of vegan options available. I really enjoyed the vegan cachupa, and the coconuts added a delicious touch to the dish.
