The Herbert Arms - Powys

We've already been driving past the herbert arms a few times, but today we've registered for Sunday dinner. we had our two little dogs that were made welcome with us. the pub was nice and warm with the wood stove in the restaurant and another in the bar area. we had the turkey and the bark meat together with the house cooked veg and all circumcisions. the service was excellent and so friendly. the trifle and hot chocolate fudge cake were delicious and very decent in size. we are very happy that we have convened and will definitely call again very soon.

Good pub duve to make reasonable trips. family friendly and great parking. not many beer on design, but excellent selection of food, including vegetarian.

Very warm welcome by owner! we had steak and it was excellent. significant environment formed by good eating and nursing staff. will not be recommended.

If they are looking for a traditional, friendly and warm pub with a good varied menu and beautiful freshly cooked meals, then don't look further. we recently had a beautiful meal here and will be re-used.

Went to find this pub for Sunday lunch, Aug 2021 The pub is no longer operating. Also tried The Dragon in Montgomery which was only serving food to residents at present.
