Iguanas Mexican Grill - Powell River

We had a delicious lunch here based on a local's recommendation. The Duo Amigo was fantastic, and the portions were just right.

I can't recall exactly what I ordered, but the Mexican food at this restaurant was disappointing. I'll just make it at home next time.

My extended family and I had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The food was delicious with large portions, quick service, and the best margaritas made with real fruit. I particularly enjoyed the raspberry margarita. The prices were reasonable and it was a great place for families.

After a long dayhike on the Sunshine Coast Trail we were pretty hungry so we decided to go to Iguanas. The business does not have a website menu but a pic of the menu can be viewed on FB. There are lots of choices for vegans and vegetarians. We ordered the Los Fantasticos as a starter and the Vegan Burritos both were delicious and provided ALOT of food. We dined in as the restaurant was practicing pandemic protocols. Because of this, seating is very limited. We witnessed a strong takeout business though. The service was excellent and prices very reasonable. We spent $53 for starter, 2 entrees, 1 beer and tip. Check the operating hours before you go as they close between the lunch and dinner service.

Accessed their menu online and ordered to-go. The staff were very friendly and delivered our order directly to our vehicle once it was ready. Love that they have authentic corn tortillas with the meals : Portions were very generous and menu had a lot of different options to choose from.
