Suga's Cheese Shoppe Cafe

This small family-owned restaurant is a gem! The staff here truly goes the extra mile to ensure their customers are satisfied. Currently, their menu is limited but they are more than willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. Despite the limited options, our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, excellent service, and friendly staff. The owner/chef mentioned that the menu will expand once they have more help, but in the meantime, the few vegan choices available were a pleasant surprise for those looking for plant-based options while dining out.

I recently dined at this restaurant for the second time and was once again impressed. Suga’s is a non-vegan restaurant that offers delicious vegan appetizers, entrees, and the standout item – pimento cheese! Their pimento cheese is truly fantastic, made with caramelized onions, sprouts, and black bean hummus. This place is a great choice for introducing friends and family to tasty vegan and non-vegan options. They have a variety of dishes to choose from, including vegan burgers, chicken wraps, and grilled cheeses. My personal favorite is their Vegan Zesty Burger. The seasonal jam served with their pimento cheese appetizer biscuits is exceptional – I recently tried their balsamic strawberry jam and it was amazing. Don't miss their homemade lemonades, with flavors that change daily. I had the passion fruit and blueberry lemonade, and it was delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Suga’s for a great dining experience!
