Restaurant Le France - Pouzauges

A new restaurant replacing the old express. New direction. It is divided into 3 areas; the bar, the terrace animated by a DJ ( guaranteed atmosphere) and the restaurant. We had a good welcome and drove to the terrace for the aperitif. Then we went to the dining room. A menu at 39€ including, entry (3 choices), flat (3 choices) and dessert (4 choices). Overall it went well despite a couac; a lobster presented without its tail accompanying the entrance of lobster cabbage and hibiscus. We will move to the unique incident and look forward to improvements. We had a good time. Our encouragement to this establishment.

Great reception, lots of kindness and delicious meals. I recommend it without hesitation, eyes closed.

We were a group of 10, being aware of the large taboo we were, we unfortunately waited 2 hours to be served from our entrances. It was hot in the restaurant room and there was a strong drain smell, when we asked the boss to open the window, this one told us that we were hot because of the rum in our cocktails taken to wait... The rest of the guests in the room agreed with our group and was also hot...In addition, seafood was full of water because frozen vegetables from uncooked dishes... damage while the reviews on TripAdvisor were rather positive. The boss sold us during the orders a semi gastro kitchen with the taken that go with but unfortunately the quality of the kitchen is not... On the other hand, meat was of good quality At the time of payment, no commercial gesture on their part...

The owners are welcoming and friendly. Apéro en terrasse followed by an excellent meal, all dishes are homemade with fresh products and at a very reasonable price. I recommend
