Arkansas River Pizza - Pottsville

We had heard such great things about this place. Alot of people said it was some of the best pizza around and to try the pickle pizza. We ordered a XL and a small one as well. The one that took our order acted as if she didn’t want to or it was too much trouble to make the xl. Was told it would be a 30-35 minute wait which isn’t terrible for pizza. Turned out to be an hour wait. Three people came in as I was waiting and two left because of the service and lack of menu. Once I got the pizza it looked terrible and was definitely NOT the best let alone even good around. Frozen pizza would have been better and much faster. And the price… not worth the $42 spent. Won’t go back and do not suggest this place. For me it wasn’t even the pizza really it was the lack of menus and slow service… after traveling so much I guess I’m tainted.

My husband and I visited family in Pottsville over Christmas. I'd heard about Arkansas River Pizza Company, but none of us had tried them before, so we ordered two pizzas: the Mega Meaty Pizza and the Fried Pickle Pizza. Both were fantastic! The crust is nice and crispy, not too thick and perfectly hold-able. They somehow like magic managed to capture the experience of eating fried dill pickles in a pizza form that in no way visually resembles fried dill pickle. I would absolutely order either pizza again next time we are in town!

Just can’t seem to get an order right. Multiple times going and awful experience each time. Waited 45 min for the wrong order

Got the supreme Pizza sooo good it beats out all the other Pizza’s in the area ! Very nice workers and quick service i wish i would of took a pic of it to post didn’t think of it tell it was all gone.
