Sweethearts Rooftop - Potts Point

Got kicked off our table for another reservation, no warning given on arrival that it was booked

We had a booking at 8:30pm and my friends and I were hungry and wanted food and some drinks to then be told that food stopped being served at 8. This was ridiculous, some of my friends and I had not had dinner thinking we were going to eat here, but we were left starving. We left after 2 hours of catching up and having drinks to then go somewhere else to eat which was hard, because not all of places in Sydney let you come and eat after 10pm. The rooftop bar was okay in terms of the vibe but I would not come back here again.

Booked for my 21st bday was told I was going to be sitting all together in an area with nice fairy lights, greenery etc when we arrived we were seated in 2 seperate back to back booths in the darkest corner with no lights. Was very dissapointed as organised about 3 weeks in advance for a very special birthday. Luckily there was a cancellation and they moved us to a better table but if it wasn't for the cancellation they said there was nothing they could do for us. Also told that could order from QR code which I was happy with as I wanted to pay for everything and view the menu, also waiting at the bar to order always takes very long. QR code was not working and no drinks menus didn't get to pay for my friends as they kept scattering to the bar and made ordering for the whole table difficult. Otherwise the experience was nice, the DJ was okay at the start bit too loud to talk to people near you but the music got good towards the end and we were dancing. The bar staff were soooo friendly, they helped me light a sparkler and sing happy bday with cupcakes i brought which they stored in the fridge for me. Cool vibe of the place as well, energetic and vibrant. The nachos and tacos were also really delicious. Place probs good for smaller groups or spontaneous night out but wouldnt reccomend booking for something like a 21st

We had a very good time and the rooftop is nice. The staff were friendly too. However, we were a bit disappointed when we got to know part of the menu was not available because one of the kitchens was closed. We are talking about nachos, sweet potatoes and that stuff which is very convenient for big groups of people since it’s easy to share. I would strongly suggest you found the way to offer that part of the menu at all times, just that :
