My best guess is that the persons who wrote these reviews either are very good friends or/ and have never been to a real good Italian restaurant! This restaurant are way behind middle when it comes to food. A way of Italain style of cooking, so to say, but not tasty, and certainly not made with passion. Atmosphere is bad, mostly due to cheap interior and lack of personal touch. Service is on the limit. The resturant is not even in Potsdam, but quite a bit outside. For good Italian food chose Assaggi on Luisenplatz.
Food and Service were GREAT. For a small restaurant it was very busy which is always a good sign that the food is good. There is nothing we can say was bad. Wish we would have had time to eat there a second time during our stay in Potsdam.
This restaurant has been recommended by friends who live nearby, and we visited on a Friday eve around 8 pm. Since we had no reservation, we were lucky that a table was just being vacated we have afterwards seen a few people turned away. Setting is nice and laid back, and service attentive. For starters, we had small antipasti to share, and got a nice big plate with warm antipasti, and some warm bread to share. Very tasty and a bit garlicky, and we loved it. For mains we had a tender entrecote with veggies and pasta, and a tagliatelle with lemon and salmon, big portions accompanied by a new basket of warm bread. Both mains again lovely and delicious. After the generous helpings, no space for dessert, so we only had a grappa. Service throughout attentive, with sufficient time between the courses, to enjoy and talk. Reasonably priced at €30 per head, including a bottle of Prosecco , which completed the meal nicely. Would go again if we were in the area.
I have been getting into the fiddle for several years and like to take a longer drive in shopping, or rather spend the night in potsdam babelsberg, than in berlin. the mixed appetizers are diverse and from my view the all-setting feature of the navel badhin. they are available in the small and in the large variants. or as a surprise. some warm, some cold all delicious. the main courts there are also two to three dishes from the changing daily menu, which are not on the map. noodles, meat or fish I have tried everything and has never been disappointed. fresh noodles with an interesting filling, meat or fish dishes with an intensely tasting soaking who likes this is right here. I always drink the current primitivo in the fidele, which I can recommend without restriction. to the desserts I can say little usually I had no place for it. in autumn or winter there is definitely a fantastic tiramisu. I like it if I can spend a relaxed evening with my wife or family and I don't get the feeling mediated to have to clear my place soon. in the nasty one takes care of it. I take time for a fantastic meal and look forward to the freshly prepared meals. I usually serve by phone I do not have the restaurant opening times in the head. I've only been able to get back to the fidele, even though I didn't leave a message on the answering machine. I like it!
So... we used to be really happy to eat. the service had unfortunately left behind but now we have started another attempt and were rewarded with new ease eating again very delicious ...
