Cibo - POTENZA

Curious about the positive reviews of some friends, I tried this place and I was pleasantly impressed. the room is small, but cozy and cute, modern furnishings and soft music. very courteous and affable people. the menu is very wide, from meat appetizers, cheeses and chips per second to salads, but what I highly recommend is the ruccolo, a pizza cooked in the pot, quite double, stuffed in so many ways all delicious and attractive. I tried various types with friends and what is known is the quality and authenticity of raw materials. the price is on average. I'll be right back.

Superb dining experience at Cibo in Potenza. First stopped in for a late lunch, which was so good that the group I was with decided to come back for dinner, even though the restaurant is not in the most convenient location well outside the town centre. That said it was (and in future is) worth the effort. The menu is smallish, but the emphasis is quality over quantity and local produce. Also, we were very well looked after by the owner, Peppone, who was a fantastic host and was extremely helpful in explaining the menu. All in all a great experience and couldn't recommend more highly. Oh, and they do a great cup of tea.
