La Huerta Mexican - Poteau

I was here with a group. Everyone was happy. Food is not the spicy Tex Mex variety, but the more subtle (sometimes Bland could) genuine Mexican. We had an assortment of entrées, including the Mexican chili with beans (like a layer-dip) appetizer, taquitos, enchiladas, a taco salad and some other things. Everything was good. They're not stubborn, but their stuff tastes good.

Yum! Good Mexican food. Really good Mexican food at great prices. Started with traditional chips and salsa, very good. My wife had the chickenfajita taco salad and she loved it, much tasteful chicken and grilled vegetables and I had the short rib Fajitas. Very delicious and filled with a huge part. Great waiting staff... so friendly. This place is a winner!

Mexican average. I had my first visit here last night. The decor is quite typical. The service was friendly and prompt. The chips and salsa were excellent. I ordered Carnitas for my entry and they were pretty good-very delicate and tasteful. Beans and rice were not descriptive. It's okay, but nothing to get really excited. Prices are reasonable.

Ten of us ate here tonight. Everyone seems to be happy with the food. The service is fast, but there were some separations.
