Indian Kitchen - Portsmouth

We started ordering from this takeout place around 4 years ago and it used to have the best curry. However, in the past year, we have noticed a decline in quality. The bhajis are cold, greasy, and falling apart. The meat portions have decreased, as well as the overall portion sizes. Recently, we had a very disappointing biryani that seemed like it was made from leftovers. The curry sauce even had frozen mixed vegetables, including sweet corn, mixed in. Unfortunately, the quality has gone from fantastic to poor, and we will not be returning.

Ordered at around 7pm waited an hour 20 minutes, foods arrives and room temperature and full of oil. Won’t be using this restaurant again! Shocking experience, wouldn’t recommend.

I tried this restaurant for the first time and I was impressed. The food was hot, generously portioned with meat, and all of it was tasty. It also arrived earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely order from here again.

As a lover of indian/spicey food, i have tried 100 's of takeaways over the years can honestly say that this place is the best one in the local area. I/we have a takeaway from here at least once a week, the food is always quality!! Always little 'freebies ' in the bag they are always happy to cook things as u request them.....you dont just have to stick to the rigid menu!!
