Two-Fifty Market - Portsmouth

My wife and I went here for a our anniversary dinner since everything around there was booked solid. When we arrived the hostess sat us at our table with menus and the setting was nice. A larger part was a few tables over and extremely loud but that’s to be expected. It took a little while for our server to get to us…… which was frustrating but when we learned it was just her working the floor and also a party room as well! We get it as my wife was a server for years and when short handed, especially in this economy we understand completely. Service was great, food was excellent and deserts were amazing! Five stars for the way she handled the situation and being way under staffed. Definitely worked hard to make our dinner a great one!

A lunch of soup, salad dessert an tea for over $100. Is over-priced Chowder with tiny minced clams and very salty, no potatoes. Cob salad with lots of lettuce Small dinner roll with salad-extra $1.00 $4.50 each for small scoop of ice cream on deserts. Nancy Donovan

Very nice hotel restaurant with nice views, friendly service and good food.

Was very nice hotel ball room buffet. Waiter seemed bored and kept coming over asking if we needed anything even after multiple times being told we are all set, but very friendly. Food was warm and yummy.
