Michelle's On Market Square

Even though we were too late because of traffic, the staff was very accommodating. Great food, great service. Sitting on the window allows for large people to observe on the marketplace. Very recommend to give it a try for brunch.

Really nice. Decor was beautiful. Our waitress was knowledgeable and adeptic. She was there when we needed her, but not float or interrupt. The food was pretty good, and there was enough variety on the limited menu to make all belly contents. We celebrated a few UNH graduates and that was an ideal place for a special night.

The food at this restaurant was decent overall. Unfortunately, my French toast was served cold, but the poached eggs were excellent. I wish there had been more roasted potatoes, as they were quite tasty. The ambiance was pleasant and eclectic. The upstairs area was a bit crowded, leading to loud conversations. The server was very friendly and attentive. I would recommend giving this place another try, maybe for dinner next time.

We surprised the staff with our arrival, but they graciously accommodated us before closing for the holiday! Everyone was very welcoming and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere in the restaurant, where we didn't feel rushed. This place offers a unique experience in downtown Portsmouth, with great people-watching from the second floor windows. The menu is diverse and delicious, with generous portions (the brunch kept us full for hours!). The ambiance is cozy and inviting. It seems like dinner may be a more formal experience, but I can't wait to return soon to find out!
