I was not cooking but wanted some comfort food. Went here once before. So, I'm back. Turkey wings mmmm. They can cook. It's not in and out because it's not fast food. Someone spent time on this meal. So I patiently waited. Standing against the wall salivating. I was starving. I added onto my order while I waited. My conclusion- Worth the wait.

I only been there twice the smothered pork chops is delicious!! Mac n cheese and greens are good. Their half tea half lemonade with crushed ice Omg!! I can't wait to try the other items on the menu.. The portion sizes are good too.

The food is delicious an well portioned as far as I saw came in 2 hr before close and chef said no more cooking but fried food still kept coming out The service was very laid back one said you know not to come here at this time but I didn't it was my first time but had to drop a star for service but for a 5+ for sure I would go back I know the rules now. Still supporting my good business it may have just been the day I went

The food is delicious! It's strictly a take out as you can see from the name Take a Plate. Definitely try it out! It will NOT disappoint!

It was the best Soul Food ever!!! I came all the way from Va Bch and it was definitely worth it!!!! A+
