The View - Portree

Great eating, very friendly staff and beautiful view in the restaurant. was our best meal at skye and definitely recommended if they are looking for something nice about the standard pubs on the island to eat.

Extremely good location with beautiful view over the bay of portree. despite limited menu choices, seafood is very fresh and portion is great, we had no place in the mag for desserts. I would recommend if they have 2-3 hours to dinner( service is not super fast, but is worth waiting!

To stay at skye! room with view of the garden was also beautiful and we have the beautiful sea view of the restaurant and salon to enjoy. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. was that the room had a bath, but the shower also worked well. we ate both nights in the hotel and enjoyed our meals. good selection of whisky and gin at the hotel bar. the living room had a nice atmosphere with the fireplace. the laundry service worked well and was not as expensive as in some other hotels where we were. I also recommend the scorrybreac trail that runs around the hotel (we recommended this from the hotel lobby, thank you! beautiful and if you have a nice affection for more movement to get to the top of the hill. do not wear their most beautiful shoes it was a little mudy. I hope you'll come back someday!

Beautiful view, great personal, exceptional customer service. the rooms are well furnished and the common rooms are attractive. a great place to tour from and back. the personal solved professional problems, gave great advice on tours and transport, and they were nice to deal with. the food was delicious and very well prepared, and the roses with its bar menu is only excellent with views of the harbour.

What a fabulous and special place to stay! the location is stunning, the rooms are luxurious and comfortable, the eating is delicious, and the staff could not have been better. we had to cancel a planned stay here in juni for kovid and they were so friendly during a stressful time. I am so glad that we travel a few months later and really appreciate the staff so helpful. that was worth it!
