L'osteria Di Fezzano - Portovenere

Delicious local cuisine with original Ligurian aromas. the dishes are based on fish and seafood. the place is small and simple, but cozy at the same time. the staff was very friendly and friendly. the prices were average.

We were absolutely appalled by our experience in this restaurant. the experience started quite positiw, but went quickly downhill. we sat in a beautiful opposite in the open and we were asked what we want. they were aware that we did not eat fish and it seemed like they were happy to accommodate. we were offered verbal a selection of dressed but found it strange that we were given a menu. I ordered the pesto and pasta and asked what it would cost because we don't have a menu to see. we were told 20 euro and the waiter (or who we thought was a waiter) must feel our shock, as he reduced the price to 15 euro, which seemed a lot for the court. my friend ordered chicken and salat for 15 euro. for drinks we ordered two gin and limonade, which we did not know the price, but assumed that it was at most 14 euro for the two. the drinks came out quickly and were nice and we were also provided with bread on the table, which was also beautiful. the food came quite fast and looked really nice, but my friend 's huh ended extremely raw. to the point where it would have made him sick when he ate it, he took it back, but there was no one to find on the recipe. he had no opportunity to go to the kitchen, where the staff only slaughter around, smoke in the kitchen etc. the personal offered to put that huh back in the frit, but my friend went back. he shared my food. the pesto and pasta was a pretty nice dish, but very expensive. the personal pulled out some chips that we thought was nice. the chips were beautiful, but there was also some celery that was served above, which was fish raw. Later, when we got the bill, we were overwhelmed to find that there was 51 euro, although we were served raw food and essentially only a meal and a drink everyone. it turned out that the restaurant tried to calculate us 24 euro for the drinks, as well as 8 euro service fee, where we would normally pay 4 in other restaurants, and they 'd us also for 5 euro for the chips we thought were free among the circumstances. my friend and I asked for the manager and it turned out that the waiter had given us the prices for our food. we questioned the bill and the manager tried to tell us that the price for the drinks was the same as for other restaurants, if we were never charged so much for drinks throughout our week in Italy. we managed to reduce our total bill to 39 euro, which was much more than we paid in other restaurants in the opposite and we were not served at any other place than raw meat. to make the things worse when we gave our money to cover the bill, we have nothing smaller than 50 euro and they had no change, so we had to wait until the so-called manager goes somewhere to change for us. we were concerned about whether he would even come back after the treatment. fortunately he returned after about 10 minutes. it pampered our night and my friend and I were both really unhappy how we were treated. we would definitely not recommend this place for tourist. we believe that they have tried to use us because we were tourists. very disappointing especially because our experience started well!

Really nice place 2 steps from the small harbour of fezzano. great for those who want to eat after a boat trip or just take a break. really nice and friendly staff. typical Ligurian cuisine, where they can also taste other seafood-based specialties. honest prizes. I'll be back soon!
