Restaurant Miramar - Porto Covo

The personal lets us wait to get a place. when a table was available, they told us to wait until they put the tellers on the table. the personal did everything except to lay on the table. if we want to sit down again, they always say. that there are no tellers, but they don't put them. we need to find another restaurant. they did not want.

What a terrible experience! he waited 20 milton, who didn't even have a drink offer. After we had ordered what we wanted in the menu...15 minutes later the waitress arrived to tell me that the court I wanted was not available. something different and then an hour and a half waiting for the food to come out, again without apologies and no offer of a drink within this time. the cleanliness of the place was under-standard with tables half-heartedly wiped and left food on chairs.

We had here a delicious grill fish dinner with views of the harbour, the evening before the beginning of our fisherman’s trail hike. great service, great eating, beautiful environment. very relaxed and friendly recommend.

Dear Miramar Restaurant Owner, As we’ve spoke today, before I left your restaurant, the use of mask by the chef it’s not optional... it’s a must! Ensuring the best hygiene practices during food preparation and cooking is a daily task for all food and beverage...establishments. However, reinforcing these practices at this specific time is extremely important! I can’t write a review about the food as I have left the restaurant after when I realized that people in the kitchen (3) weren't wearing mask... Employees serving at the tables were always entering in the kitchen, removing their mask when speaking with their colleagues ... and also... table distance ... not even 1 meter. Dear restaurant owner, also, please use mask when you’re disinfecting cutlery or when you’re going behind the counter... The use of mask is not optional as you told me.... the use of mask is mandatory! If you need more info, although you should know better pls go to DGS website. On the first day of the Rota vicentia walk we went to a fast lunch and stayed all afternoon in this simple but wonderful restaurant. we were a party of 9 and were quickly embraced by the owner. he organized a plate of various. fishing and shelling to try and we merrily drank liter house wine at 6,50 € a liter with the red is the standout wein the trip so far. we were treated with a plate of deserts to finish next to our coffee. all agreed that this was our best restaurant experience of the 4th night trip and it was just a lunch. I would encourage others with runners and traveling to look for the restaurant and try it. ps the bill was incredibly good value and the quality fantastic. in the opposite direction, they come to the road in the algarve!
