I loved this place sooo much and must go back to try more of their food. I had Bolinho de bacalhau à Votlaria and Pastel de nata de bacalhau, and both were delicious. And people there are amazing. Voltaria is a place to come back to. :
Never thought a bean salad could be this delicious, ordered a second one. Wonderful hosts and great food! Thank you for this great evening!
Voltaria made me so happy that I had to write a review to show them some love back! There 's a reason their name means 'Volvería ' in español or 'I 'll return ' in English. They have such great food, I practically had a meal there everyday I was in Porto. It 's a small, super cute, hole-in-the-wall vibes spot in an alley in between 2 major streets right in the center. Everything my friend and I tried was delicious; it all tasted like it was made with a lot of love and pride. (Shout out to the chef sous chefs ! Aside from the food, the warmth from everyone working there is what stood out. They truly want to make sure that we leave happy. And I absolutely did! (Panza llena y corazón contento. Muita obrigada por tudo! Espero voltar logo!
After waiting in line for 1.5 hours i have to say it's the best restaurant in porto. very small restaurant with very few seats. if you want to eat good traditional portuguese dishes you have to wait in line. the ladies who served us they served, they were perfect, polite and smiling. the food was delicious, fresh and well cooked. (we ate octopus and cod). it's worth a visit and not only that. also very reasonable prices. it could have 5 more tables because of the space but probably the owners will know something more than me. I will come again for sure. I recommend it. Greetings from the Greeks.....
