Mendi - Porto

The food was nice and waiters very friendly. The only thing that disturbed me alot was, although I ordered a plate for 20€ which is alot for Portugal, the rice was not included and had to order extra rice and pay. I mean it's an india restaurant come on there is always rice served. Besides, what's the price of a small bowl of rice for the business? Ordered more chilli several times and never received as well. I had the feeling that anything extra for which the customer doesn't pay is nothing they like.

My first time eating at Mendi. With my brother at 7:30 pm, not crowded and no wait, great table by the window. Warm and cozy interior, friendly and efficient staff, ordered vegetarian samosas, dhingri shabnam, mili hui sabzi, pulao rice, and garlic naan, all medium spice level. Flavors were great, loved the spice profiles. Overall a very nice dinner. We will be back to try more delicious flavors.!

Fantastic Indian food served by the nicest people in a comfortable, homey setting. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Porto one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever ever been to. Also, i you're like me and love super spicy food , they'll do it!

Fantástico restaurante indiano Comida excelente Pessoal muito simpático e amigável Convenientemente localizado perto da rotunda da Boavista, no centro do Porto. Você pode estacionar gratuitamente no Sheraton Hotel próximo (valide o bilhete de estacionamento antes de sair do restaurante). Um dos melhores restaurantes indianos que já estive.

O restaurante indiano mais antigo da cidade. Mantém seus altos padrões para arroz com curry, cordeiro e byriani. Excelentes sobremesas Gujarati e Goese.
