Sushi Ichiban - Portland

We visit of fl and although we were stiff about the location, it was totally welcoming and comfortable once inside! our waiter was super attentive! the sushi was fresh and I loved the sushi train that came around with fresh options. get the Teriyaki tofu! it was the best!

My favorite sushi place in portland has not changed a bit and is great for him. a toy train surrounds cheap rolling of good sushi. great waiting staff and fast service. good vegan options.

We were looking for sushi near our hotel and that was a great surprise! the selection is not as big as other sushi places but the quality is to the best. highly recommended and better than the price tag!

Parking is a headache here as its located in the inner city and they may need to drive around a dam until they find a place. the opposite is also very sketched, as there are many homeless running around. I had to park again because I wasn't comfortable leaving my car there, even for 10 minutes. I won't hold this against the restaurant because it's not her fault. overall the food tasted great and the service was excellent. there are signs that they are currently understaffed/hiring so that they must be patient. I came close to the closure and there was no great choice in the train, but they can always order from the menu.

Came in for lunch and was definitely not disappointed. Everything was delicious. Best salmon skin hand roll I've ever had! Everything that came around on the train looked amazing. It's fun to look at all the traditional decor and pop culture collectibles while you eat. I highly recommend this experience.
