Wilson County Barbecue - Portland

Excellent BBQ place. Been going for years. The only downside (and it’s a big one) is that their ordering and checkout process is unacceptably slow. They have an order taker using an iPad and it seems to take three times as long as it should to complete a basic order here.

Had take out for fourIncredible ribs and chicken sandwich. Fried chicken was best we ever had. All the sides were excellent pickles beautifully crunchy and that Brunswick stew was awesome amazing

Possibly the best pulled pork I've had! The collard greens were very good as well! Who'd have thought you could find good bbq in Portland?

The atmosphere and service was very good. Pulled pork was horrible. It was over cooked and very spicy. I’ve had pulled pork all throughout the southern states and never had it spicy before. The food was over price. I would not recommend a pulled pork here.

Cute and easy spot for BBQ. We enjoyed the pulled pork, pork belly and coleslaw. We thought the chicken was a little over brined/heavy dill taste.Parking: On the other side of the building there was a small lot of parking spots.Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but items some kids may like included waffles, biscuits and homemade Mac cheese.
